The coffee table arachno stands simply on the clear contours of an idea rather than common  table legs. In the course of the design process, the originally intended carrying structure was reduced bit by bit to its silhouette. It is no accident that the lightness of the table recalls the lithe elegance of a spider, its unmistakable inspiration.

The frame is composed of a flat, bent aluminum profile, thus a material modification of Alvar Aalto's laminated timber furniture. The limbs of the arachnid remain visible through the transparent glass tabletop.
