in- and outdoor kitchen
Architects like to talk about merging inside and outside spaces. The indoor–outdoor kitchen is the attempt to stretch a kitchen across the thermal borders of a home to the outside – not only spatially, but also with all of its furniture. In this way, terrace and balcony can be integrated into the living area at all times.
Work surface and base are merged as a single optical and material unit, thus reflecting the unit’s basic shape. The selection of kitchen equipment is customized for various climatic conditions and needs. A sliding glass façade is all that interrupts the kitchen block.
